Welcome to SmartByo ("we", "us", "the service"). By accessing or using SmartByo, you ("the user") agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use this service.

1. Description of Service

SmartByo is a link-in-bio platform that allows users to create a simple web page to showcase products, services, social media links, and other promotional content in one place.

2. User Accounts

To use SmartByo, you need to create an account. You are fully responsible for:

• Keeping your account login credentials confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account
• The accuracy of the information you provide when registering

3. Subscription Plans & Payment

SmartByo offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. Payments for the Pro plan are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our Merchant of Record. Paddle is responsible for billing, taxes, and payment processing — SmartByo never stores your payment card details.

Pro subscriptions renew automatically each billing period (monthly/yearly) unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account settings; Pro access remains active until the end of the period already paid for.

4. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use SmartByo for:

• Illegal, fraudulent, or rights-infringing content
• Spam, malware, or activity that harms our systems or other users
• Impersonating another person or business with intent to deceive
• Selling products or services that violate applicable law

We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

5. User Content

You retain full ownership of all content (text, images, links) you upload to your SmartByo page. By uploading it, you grant us a limited license to store and display that content as part of operating the service.

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service if you violate these Terms of Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

SmartByo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect losses, data loss, or business interruption arising from your use of this service.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
